Once a slave in a landlord's vineyard in Elpis, Catherine was saved by shaymin from being assassinated by her masters, merging with her. She managed to fled from there, to Elpis palace, where she found a home, becoming the next successor of the legendary Shaymin, willing to help Celebi in her goal of reaching peace for all the kingdoms.
The lady is a pacifist, gentle and kind, and appreciates gratitude. She enjoys helping those in need, injured, or lost in their path of life. Having a sort of a "hero complex", Catherine enjoys to travel around the pokegea, to meet new people to bring peace to. She loves to take care of gardens, and singing while doing so. At her rather "young age", she still enjoys playing games with younger kids; even adults, whomever interested in having a peaceful time and laugh with her. Catherine finds amusing transforming into her pokémon form, and spying people. She is a bit of a trickster, but incredibly naive about life.
